Toronto’s Financial District is unequivocally the business centre of all of Canada. The core (as it is colloquially known) is home to every major financial institution, consulting firm, and other Fortune 500 company which operates in Canada. The Financial District is notable not only for its industrial prowess, but also for having the most expensive parking in Toronto. In many of the officer towers, daily parking can run as high as $30-35 (the daily max is usually reached by parking for only 2.5 hours). Many of these office buildings are owned/managed by companies like DREAM, Oxford Properties, H&R REIT, and Bentall Kennedy to name a few. There is some municipal street parking available in the Financial District, but the demand far outweighs the supply, so it is always really tough to find a spot in the area.
