Located on the eastern end of Toronto, Leslieville has become a very hip area for young, middle-class families. Along Queen Street East you can find a myriad of local cafes, bakeries and restaurants as well as antique shops and clothing stores. There is also no shortage of parks and green space for kids (or dogs) to stretch their legs. At the bottom of Leslieville you'll also find a number of film studios including Cinespace (which helped produce "Resident Evil: Afterlife" and "Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium"), Showline Studios and Pinewood Studios (home of the acclaimed TV series "Orphan Black" ). Because of its close proximity to the film industry, Leslieville is also home to a number of artists. The area is mostly residential so street parking is the preferred choice of people visiting.
